Aluminera has participated in the supply of the entire curtain wall building for the new DASSAULT AVIATION headquarters in Merignac-France, where we have manufactured the entire Aluminum structure that covers the facades of the entire building, including extrusion and painting of profiles. A custom design has been made for this project through two of our clients COVERIS – LABROSSE, which has ended with the completion of the building inaugurated on September 21, 2021. We want to thank our customers for the trust allowing us
to collaborate in the manufacture of aluminum profiles for this important project.

Today, at Aluminera, September 21st, 2021, we celebrate the third anniversary of the acquisition of the first production unit that was purchased to start an aluminum profile extrusion project in Spain. We want to share this moment with all our clients, suppliers, partners and with the entire team that is part of the company. And we do it today, the same day of the opening of the Third Production Shift, starting to produce 24 hours continuously.

This news is one more step towards the development of our company where we continue to walk with the roadmap that was designed at the beginning of the project in September 2018, when we started this ambitious journey. With this new stage, we will achieve greater production, optimization, service improvement and position the company one more step towards the goal set. To get here, we can only thank the trust of all our customers, suppliers and workers, the effort of all of them allows the company to carry on taking more industrial speed in its market activity.

Once we have reached this point, our next step will be to install a second production line that will allow us to have an annual production capacity close to 20,000 tons per year by mid-2023, in this we have already put all
our effort and work to carry it out.

Last Monday, September 13th 2021, Ernest Campoy, Account Executive and Antoni Company, Regional Sales Manager from XPO LOGISTICS, main logistic’s supplier for the most part of our expeditions to Europe, have visited Aluminera’s production site in Granollers (Spain). We would like to take the opportunity to thank their engagement service with Aluminera to deliver our goods to all our customers all over Europe being at all times helpful and caring with the requirements that the market is demaing us in such special cirsumstances as the ones we are at this moment since we are in an expansion and developement phase of the business.

Aluminera is very happy to have on its side such a good logistics service company that help us to reach to all our clients and complete our potential as a aluminium profile extrusion company.

We are pleased to inform you that our company has obtained a CE certification for extrusion of structural profiles EN 15088: 2005 with No. 0370-CPR-3866, taking another step in our firm commitment to the quality and safety in all our manufacturing processes for aluminum profiles.

We continue to advance and work to exceed the expectations of our clients.

The Mayor of Granollers, Mr. Josep Mayoral and the Councilor of Economic Promotion, Mrs. Gemma Giménez i Torres, visited our facilities on January 21st, 2020. During the visit to the production site, the CEO of Aluminera (Pedro Jiménez) showed them the entire production center as well as the auxiliary facilities, explained all the progress of the project during this first exercise of activity and shared the future plans for the company.

We have invested in training for all our workers during 2019, with the aim of ensuring and strengthening the technical capacity of the entire team. Various courses have been delivered in all areas during the year, both in occupational risk prevention, safety, computer systems, plant operations, etc. We want to continue improving the specialization of our team, which will allow us to grow with strength and security. Our clients should know that we have a highly qualified group of people and for this we do not spare any effort or means. Throughout 2020 we will continue our commitment.

Aluminera’s CEO | Pedro Jiménez | participates at the round-table discussion organized by PIMEC, with thre Economist Santiago Niño Becerra and other businessman, last October 22nd at the theater auditorium in Granollers. The event was attended by about 400 people, including the Mayor of the city Josep Mayoral. Different opinions were discussed about the future of economic activity for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the challenges they will have to face in the coming years.
